|**In the Spring of 2013, the Annex was closed for demolition, so the labs have moved to new locations on campus. The Tutorial Center has been relocated to Building A, room 214 and the Math L-Series to Building E, room 219.|
|The Academic Learning Center Labs provide remedial and
developmental instruction for academically under-prepared
students; they also offer supplemental and stimulating
instruction for students interested in developing and
improving particular reading, writing, English, language, mathematics, study skills, and computer skills.
Tutorial Services offers free English workshops, Math and Chemistry Academy Lifeline Tutoring, Supplemental Instruction (SI), study groups, and peer tutoring for a variety of academic courses. The Center recruits, hires, and trains supplemental instruction leaders, group tutors and drop-in tutors, as well as coordinates SI and tutorial services to students, individually or in small groups. Students interested in teaching careers are strongly encourged to apply for tutorial positions.
