Hall of Fame Nomination Form Guidelines
ATHLETE
Must be a documented college athletic participant.
Must be a ten (10) year time lapse since the candidate's class graduated.
While athletic and academic achievement as an undergraduate is of prime importance, outstanding accomplishments after leaving Hartnell College will also serve as a factor in making the selection.
Alumni athletes may not be considered for induction while serving on the Hartnell College Athletic Hall of Fame Committee.
Any of the above provisions may be waived by unanimous vote of the
Hartnell College Athletic Hall of Fame Committee.
COACHES, ATHLETIC OFFICIALS, FACULTY, STAFF OR COLLEGE ADMINISTRATORS
Must have an outstanding career at Hartnell College which resulted in a direct and significant impact on Hartnell College athletics for at least five (5) years.
Must have terminated his/her service for Hartnell College at least five (5) years prior to his/her induction.
Any of the above provisions may be waived by unanimous vote of the Hartnell College Athletic Hall of Fame Committee.
ATHLETIC TEAMS
An athletic team shall be eligible for induction as one inductee.
Must be a ten (10) year time lapse since the team's class graduated.
The induction of a team shall not prohibit the separate induction of one or more of its members.
When a team is inducted, the Hartnell College Athletic Hall of Fame Committee shall select a representative to accept the award.
Any of the above provisions may be waived by unanimous vote of the
Hartnell College Athletic Hall of Fame Committee.
VOLUNTEERS & SUPPORTERS
Others may be considered who have made exceptional contributions of time and effort to Hartnell College Athletics (e.g., financial support, donor, booster, volunteer, fan, sports writer).
