In order to encourage former Trustees to actively participate in campus life following their departure from the Board of Trustees, the Emeritus Trustee policy has been created. It is hoped that Emeritus Trustees will continue to contribute their time and talent to assist the College in multiple endeavors even after their departure from the Board.
Following one term of office (four years of service) as a Trustee and upon leaving the Board, the former Trustee shall be known as Emeritus Trustee. The Emeritus Trustee will receive all honors and privileges befitting this office.
The Superintendent/President shall develop procedures necessary to carry out this policy. The procedures are located in the Office of the Superintendent/President.
