2210 Revolving Cash Account

The Governing Board, by Resolution, pursuant to Education Code 84030 establishes a Revolving Cash Account.  The account shall be in the amount of $50,000, subject to subsequent adjustment by the Governing Board.

The Revolving Cash Account is established to permit more efficient payment for services and/or materials which are a legal charge against the District.  In addition, corrections of payroll errors as provided in the Budget and Accounting Manual may be made from this fund.  All expenditures shall be properly receipted and reimbursed from District funds at least once per month, or more frequently as needed.  No single disbursement shall exceed $10,000.

The Superintendent/President is authorized to establish, in one or more banks, an account to be known as "The Revolving Cash Account of the Hartnell Community College District."

The Superintendent-President and the Chief Business Officer, and the Controller are authorized to use this account.

The Controller is designated as custodian of the account and is accountable for all Revolving Cash Account disbursements and funds.

All disbursements from this account shall be made by pre-numbered checks drawn on a checking account established by the Superintendent/President as authorized above.  No disbursement shall be made without the approval of any two of the following officers:  the Superintendent-President, the Chief Business Officer, or the Controller.
