CARDIAC ARREST (NO PULSE)
DROWNING OR NEAR-DROWNING
SHOCK
BURNS
UNCONTROLLED BLEEDING
UNCONSCIOUSNESS
CHOKING
POISONING
OVERDOSE
SUSPECTED FRACTURE OF BACK, NECK, OR SPINE OR MULTIPLE FRACTURES

ANY FIRE

CHEMICAL OR BIOLOGICAL HAZARDOUS MATERIAL RELEASE WHERE THERE IS A SUSPECTED HIGH POTENTIAL TO INJURE SOMEONE OR CAUSE A FIRE

CRIME OR VIOLENT INCIDENT, PSYCHOLOGICAL CRISIS, CIVIL DISTURBANCE

Telephone Failure

To report an emergency incident when school phones are not working, do the following:

Use public pay or cellular phone. If they do not work,
HCC personnel should send a "runner" to the Campus Safety office adjacent to the Steinbeck Hall OR the Student Services Office OR the President's Office where alternate communications options are available.
If the telephone failure occurs after regular business hours and neither pay nor cellular phone is available, HCC personnel should send a runner to the Campus Safety Office or the Night Faculty Supervisor in CAB101-South building on the first floor adjacent the cashier’s window.
