Teaching Experience
I taught math for two years at San Jose State and two years at the University of Oregon. I've been a full-time math instructor at Hartnell since Fall 2004, and was the Math Lab coordinator from Fall 2004 through Fall 2009.
Hobbies and Interests
I do lots of bicycling and running. I used to cycle competitively; my biggest race was the original Red Zinger Classic in Colorado back in 1975 (big, but not quite the Tour de France!). I've also run several marathons.
My other main hobby is playing classical piano. I've performed a few times at Hartnell and hope to do more of that in the future.
