WELCOME to the dynamic world of business! I am a full-time business instructor at Hartnell College, as well as the SIFE (Students In Free Enterprise) faculty advisor. I began my teaching career in 1997 by teaching accounting and business classes for nearby community colleges. My first career, however, was in private industry. I?ve spent over 15 years working for large, publicly held companies to small, privately owned businesses, including L.D. Maffei Seed Co., a family owned business. I love all sports, including football (American and soccer), basketball, and baseball. My favorite teams are usually ?local?, such as the SF Forty-Niners, Sacramento Kings, and SF Giants. I also like to hike, fish for trout and snow ski in the Sierra Nevada?s. I enjoy collecting antique coins and stamps and securities. Oh yes, I do love to eat ? foreign foods are often my favorite dishes. Did I mention I like to travel too?????
