In my spare time I enjoy reading and movies, plays and performing arts. I also enjoy tinkering with computers and new technologies. If we can make it easier with technology I try. In my previous career I worked in electronics for Pacific Bell.

A native of Salinas and a Salinas High School grad, I completed my first advanced degree here at Hartnell College. My first jobs were in the field for which I am very proud.

I hold a BA from UC Santa Barbara in Religious Studies and Sociology. I did attend the University of San Francisco for a year. I hold an A.A. from Hartnell College and received a math scholarship while attending.

My graduate work was completed at San Diego State in Education, with a concentration in Counseling. I'm currently working on a doctorate program in Educational Leadership from the University of LaVerne.

I'm American Indian, Yaqui, we come from Mexico but many settled in Arizona. One of my grandfathers came from the Phillipines. I am also Filipino.
