Welcome to the Internet Literacy course web site!

This class has been developed as a collaborative project by faculty from California State University, Monterey Bay, and Hartnell College.

This course will be conducted entirely over the Internet, using this web site, Serf courseware and email. An initial orientation meeting will give students an opportunity to meet their instructor, receive handouts explaining how to navigate Serf courseware, and learn how to log onto email and the networks at CSUMB and Hartnell.

Class textbooks (Internet Literacy by Fred T. Hofstetter) will be available at both the Hartnell College and CSUMB bookstores and libraries. Textbooks may also be ordered online from: Amazon.com, an online bookstore.

Students who wish to enroll in this class but do not have their own computers or Internet accounts will be provided access to the Internet and permission to use computer labs at CSUMB and Hartnell College.

For more information, contact Jennifer Lagier at (831) 759-6063 or by Email.
