1. Searching for better understanding of problems involving all aspects of earth history. My current primary areas of focus are searches for better understanding of:
  • the controls of climate and the role of galactic cosmic rays in the determination of climate,
  • mechanisms of climate change and the role of galactic cosmic rays in the process,
  • pre-Holocene climates, environments, and their modern analogs,
  • extinctions,
  • how to improve weather and climatic change forecasting.


    • 2. Searching for better understanding of our mental and physical potentials, health and longevity and how to maximize them through:
  • an understanding of our evolutionary heritage,
  • an understanding of the evolutionary heritage of our foods.


    • 3. Formulating the tenets of my religion, ROLE-FULFILLING ENLIGHTENING SYNTHEISM. This new religion will:
  • contain good elements of existing religions,
  • omit bad elements of existing religions,
  • make it hard to pervert good into bad,
  • incorporate a current understanding of ourselves, our world and our universe.


    • 4. Searching for a better understanding of human psychology and ways to help those in need of a change in their psychological perspective. My NATURAL PERSPECTIVE-HORIZON EXPANSION model is a context for this.


    5. Searching for ways to maximize human creative potential in the arts and sciences, including:
  • maximizing synthetic, theoretical scientific activity,
  • maximizing understanding of and expression of novel creative elements in the enjoyment of the arts.


    • Examples of my synthetic, theoretical activities are those mentioned above and my programs involving the selective breeding of plants and animals.


    Examples of my original, creative activities in the arts are my photographs and my music performed by my band TIME TRAVELLER.
