Electronic Mail/E-Mail
Are you interested in obtaining your own free electronic mail account? Does your instructor encourage you to submit your assignments electronically rather than turning in printed copy? Do you want a way to communicate with friends and relatives all over the world? If your answer to any of these questions is YES, then you may wish to sign up for one of the many free e-mail accounts available through the Internet. Unlike Hartnell e-mail accounts, these e-mail accounts do not expire. Best of all, you can send and receive e-mail from any computer that provides Internet access and has not had e-mail capabilities disabled.

The Hartnell College Library provides computers in the Media Lab which you may use to send and receive electronic mail. We ask you to not send or receive e-mail from the Reference Lab computers, as these are reserved for students working on research.
