Community members wanting to know how construction projects are going at Hartnell College are invited to attend a meeting on Friday, Jan 28.
The "construction update" meeting will be held at 2 p.m. in the board room of the Classroom/Administration Building (CAB).
The purpose of the monthly meetings is to keep community members, Hartnell faculty, staff members and students informed on the progress of construction projects and campus upgrades, which were funded by the successful passage in 2002 of the college's $131million bond measure and other state funds.
Two of the major buildings going up at the corner of Central and Homestead avenues are a new Learning Resource Center (library) and a parking garage.
Stan Crane, assistant to the president for Measure H, and other administrators will be on hand to answer questions from the community.
