An Irish dinner and evening of entertainment will be presented at Hartnell College on Tuesday, March 16 - the evening before St. Patrick's Day.
The Irish dinner of corned beef and cabbage, which begins at 5:30 p.m. in the College Center, is open to the public.
The Spirit of Salinas Irish Dancers of the Salinas School of Dance will provide entertainment at 6:15 p.m. The dance group includes 20 dancers, ages 4 to 17 years old.
There also will be an Irish sing-along to such songs as "When Irish Eyes Are Smiling."
The cost is $7 for adults and $4.50 for children. Tickets must be purchased in advance at the cafeteria in the College Center or at the cashier's office in the Classroom/Administration (CAB) Building. The last day to buy tickets is Friday, March 12.
The Irish night is part of the international buffet dinners presented by Hartnell's international foods class. Entertainment is provided by the Hartnell College Center for International/Intercultural Education.
