Hartnell College Art Students and Artists to Exhibit Their Works in April and May

Hartnell College art students and local artists will exhibit their works in April and May in the Seminar Art Gallery at the college.

All of the exhibitions are free and open to the public.

The Seminar Art Gallery is in Visual Arts Building, located adjacent to West Alisal Street and close to Homestead Avenue. There is parking on the street and also a parking lot adjacent to the Visual Arts Building ($1-four quarters).

Here's the April-May lineup:

"Light Dancing: Glass and Light Explorations" by Susan Bradshaw, April 19-22, 10 a.m.-1 p.m.; reception for artist is Monday, April 19, 6-8 p.m.

"Tangents and Colors," an exhibition of drawings and paintings on clay tiles by Barbara Monning, April 19-22, 10 a.m.-1 p.m.; reception for the artist is Monday, April 19, 6-8 p.m.

"Livestock," an exhibition of ceramic sculpture by Terrie Foreman, April 27-29, 5-8 p.m.; reception for artist is Monday, April 26, 6-8 p.m.

"Barnyard Premiers," an exhibition of whimsical sculptures in clay and mixed media by Ken Muscutt, April 27-29, 2-8 p.m.; reception for the artist is Monday, April 26, 6-8 p.m.

"Night Walk," an exhibition of black and white photographs of local landscapes and architecture by photographer Dorian Jon, May 3-6, 6-9 p.m.; reception for the artist is Monday, May 3, 6 p.m.

"Reflections," an exhibition of acrylics on canvas by Arielle Ciara Ramanda, May 3-6, 6-9 p.m.; reception for the artist is Monday, May 3, 6-8 p.m.

"Windows of War," an exhibition of mixed media by Sandra Thomas, May 10-13, 10 a.m.-1 p.m.; reception of the artist is Monday, May 10, 6-8 p.m.

"Face to Face: Who Am I?", an exhibition of faces in high-fired clay by Ellen Donovan Wright, May 10-13, 10 a.m.-1 p.m.; reception for the artist is Monday, May 10, 6-8 p.m.

"On Going Addictions: Golf and Clay," an exhibition of ceramics that combines Rudy Martinez' passion for both clay and golf, May 17-20, 5:30-8 p.m.; reception for the artist Monday, May 17, 6-8 p.m.

"Vases and Vessels," an exhibition of ceramics and pottery by artist and art instructor Barb English, May 17-20, 10 a.m.-1 p.m.; reception for the artist is Monday, May 17, 6-8 p.m.

"Eloquently Embedded," an exhibition of inset designs on pottery, tiles and mosaics by local artisan Holley Southworth, May 24 and 26, 10-noon and 5-7 p.m.; reception for the artist is Monday, May 24, 6 p.m.
