Tecnifĩcate Conference Educates California's Spanish-Speaking Communities on How to Leverage Technology

The public is invited to this free conference and workshop, given entirely in Spanish, on how to use technology to improve your family, work, and professional life. Knowledge in this field is necessary now more than ever, be it to find a job, grow a business, or stay up-to-date and in contact with family.

Who:

Ariel Coro, Hispanic Technology Expert and founder of Tu Tecnologĩa and the California Community Colleges Economic & Workforce Development Program.

What:

Tecnifĩcate is a free event for members of the Hispanic community to learn many ways to leverage technology to find jobs, assist them in developing and growing a business, and to improve their participation in their children's education. This event is specifically focused on stressing the importance of technology in the personal and professional development of Spanish speakers and is conducted entirely in Spanish.

When:

Saturday, May 19th, 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Doors open at 9:30 a.m.

Steinbeck Hall at Hartnell College, 411 Central Avenue in Salinas.

ABOUT TECNIFĨCATE & ARIEL CORO

The Tecnifĩcate series is targeted at Spanish speaking residents of California to help encourage a better adoption and understanding of technology and educate on the tangible and positive impact it will have on their lives. It is a joint project of Tu Tecnologĩa and the California Community Colleges Economic & Workforce Development Program.

Coro is the host of Tu Tecnologĩa, a Spanish language broadcast TV segment that educates Hispanic families on the latest tech and autos. His tech column is featured in La Opinion and El Diario La Prensa and is syndicated nationally.
