A meeting to keep community members informed about the progress of construction projects at Hartnell College will be held on campus Friday, April 28.
The meeting will begin at 2 p.m. in room 112 of the Classroom/Administration Building (CAB).
The purpose of the monthly meetings is to update community members, Hartnell faculty, staff members and students about construction projects and campus upgrades, according to Stan Crane, assistant to the president for Measure H. The campus changes are funded by the successful passage in 2002 of the college's $131million Measure H bond and other state funds.
The finishing touches are being put on a new $19 million, 68,000-square-foot learning resource center (library), which will be officially dedicated Friday, May 12. A new $18 million, three-level parking structure opened Jan. 23 with the start of the spring semester.
