The Hartnell College English Department announced the winners of the Faith Webster Poetry Prize at a poetry reading celebrating Earth Day on April 21, 2008.

The prestigious award was given to two students, Jose Zapata and Aileen Pioquinto. Along with the honor of being selected, the Prize carries a cash award.

The students read their winning entries at the ceremony on Monday.
