On Thursday evening, May 20, the Hartnell College Orchestra will present “Boldly Go To a Concert of Space Music.” The free event will be presented on the college’s main stage theater at 7:30 p.m.
The performance of film and classical music on astronomical themes will be accompanied by projections designed by Hartnell Planetarium Educator Andy Kreyche.
A reception will follow the concert in the Hartnell Art Department’s new Leonardo da Vinci Exhibit, designed by art instructor Eric Bosler.
Special guest performers will include the Hartnell Community Chorus directed by Robin McKee Williams, the Hartnell College Guitar Ensemble directed by Phil Collins, and guest instrumentalists from Salinas-area elementary schools.
