On Wednesday, Sept. 11, Hartnell College will remember and reflect on last year's 9/11 terrorist attacks against the United States.
A 15-minute ceremony, beginning at 11:15 a.m., will be held in front of the flag pole on West Alisal Street side of the campus. The remembrance is open to the campus community as well as the general public.
Hartnell President Edward Valeau will make some comments, and there will be poetry readings by students. In addition, there will be a moment of silence and a medley of patriotic music by Hartnell's instrumental ensemble and chorus.
