Calling All Future Teachers!

September 19th, 2007

Hartnell College Center for Teacher Education will host an “Evening with the Educators” on Wednesday, October 10, from 6-8 p.m. in Room 116 of the Student Center. The event is an opportunity for students and others who are interested in a career in teaching to learn from the wisdom of those who already teach.

The evening will feature outstanding 2007 Harden Teaching Award winners from Monterey County, including Josefina Silva from Greenfield School District, Debra Downum-Perez from Soledad School District, and Vicki Barone from Salinas Unified School District. These distinguished educators will share their teaching experiences and encourage students to pursue a rewarding career in teaching.

Dessert and beverages will be served and the event is free and open to the public. For more information, please contact Sarah Aguilar at the Teacher Center at 831-755-6796.
