Hartnell College Presents Film Documentary “2501 Migrants: A Journey”
Hartnell College presents a free screening of the full-length documentary “2501 Migrants: A Journey,” on Wednesday, October 13, at 6 p.m. in the main stage theater. A dialogue with the film’s director, Yolanda Cruz, will immediately follow the screening.
The two-hour film explores questions of art and an indigenous community in the context of global migration. The screening is a feature event of Binational Health Week, a multi-national effort to improve the health and well-being of migrant communities living in Monterey County.
This free event is open to the public. Doors open at 5:30 and seating is limited.
This event is co-sponsored by Clinica de Salud del Valle de Salinas, Hartnell College High School Equivalency Program (HEP), and the Migrant Education Program.
