African-American Group's Fundraiser to Benefit Hartnell College Students

Proceeds from an African-American group's dinner-dance fundraising event on Saturday, Nov. 4, will provide scholarships for students attending Hartnell College.
The Coalition of African-American Men of the Monterey Peninsula (CAAMMP) will hold its event from 6 p.m. to midnight in the Steinbeck Dining Hall of Hartnell's College Center. Co-sponsor of the dinner-dance is the Hartnell College Foundation.
The evening includes dinner (steak or salmon entrees), dancing to the music of D.J. Hank, and a silent auction.
Morris (“DC”) Washington, CAAMMP member and custodial supervisor at Hartnell, said tickets are $40 per person or $350 for a table of eight.
Tickets may be purchased at the Hartnell cashier's office, located in the Classroom/Administration Building (CAB).
