Community members are invited to a "construction update" to be held by Hartnell College on Wednesday, Nov. 19.
The meeting will be at 1 p.m. in the board room of the Classroom/Administration Building (CAB) on campus.
According to Hartnell President Edward J. Valeau, the monthly meetings are designed to keep the community and Hartnell staff members informed on the progress of construction projects, which are funded through the successful passage of the college's $131 bond measure last fall and other state funds. "I urge members of the public to attend and learn what is happening at Hartnell," Valeau said.
Upcoming construction will include additional classrooms, a new library, a parking structure, renovated buildings, upgraded technology systems, and updated safety equipment.
On hand for the presentation will be Valeau, consultant Michael Maas, and others involved with the construction.
Another update meeting is scheduled for Friday, Dec. 19. It also will be held at 1 p.m. in the board room of the CAB Building. Everyone is welcome.
