Hartnell College’s award-winning Students In Free Enterprise club is holding a free business exposition on Wednesday, November 28, at the college’s main campus in Salinas. Business and community leaders will lead seminars on important business topics every hour on the hour in the morning, early afternoon, and evening.
Learn from business experts about many topics including identity theft, predatory lending practices, green businesses, global investing, credit card protections and practices, and small business issues. The club also will host workshops to help participants plan for job interviews and to create winning job resumes.
The event is free and open to the public. Sessions will be held in both English and Spanish in several locations on campus. Plan to come for one or two sessions or stay all day. Seminars start every hour between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m., with an afternoon break between 2 and 5 p.m. Corporate sponsors of the SIFE Club have donated merchandise for door prizes to be awarded participants.
