Holiday music, jazz and dance will be featured in five different concerts planned for December by the music and dance departments of Hartnell College.
All of the concerts are free, but donations may be requested at some of the events.

"Celebrations," Hartnell College Community Orchestra performs festive orchestral music for Chanukah, Christmas and Kwanzaa (African American and Pan-African holiday) by Strauss, Rossini and Holst, Thursday, Dec. 11, 7:30 p.m., Main Stage, Performing Arts Building. Carl Christensen, director.
"Winter Celebration in Song," Hartnell College Choir and Chamber Singers perform traditional Christmas carols, "Amen" from Handel's Messiah and other music, Friday, Dec. 12, 9:30 a.m., and Monday, Dec. 15, 7:30 p.m., Main Stage, Performing Arts Building. Sandy Rudo, director.
"Music for a Mid-Winter Festival," Hartnell College Community Band performs traditional music of the season with special guest performers from Washington Union and San Benancio Schools, Tuesday, Dec. 16, 7:30 p.m., Main Stage, Performing Arts Building. Carl Christensen, Hartnell Community Band director.
"Winter Jazz," Hartnell College Jazz Ensemble performs classic swing, jazz and rock, Thursday, Dec. 18, 7:30 p.m., Recital Hall, Performing Arts Building. Carl Christensen, director.
