Hartnell College to Hold Two Community Meetings In December to Review Construction on Campus

November 30th, 2005

Two meetings will be held at Hartnell College in December to keep community members as well as the college's students and staff informed about the progress of construction projects and campus upgrades.

The college is undergoing several changes as the result of the successful passage in 2002 of the $131 million Measure H bond measure and the acquisition of state construction funds.

On Wednesday, Dec. 7, the Bond Oversight Committee will hold its quarterly meeting at 3 p.m. in the board room of the Classroom/Administration Building (CAB). The community-wide committee is charged with overseeing Measure H construction projects, according to chairperson Harry Gamotan.

On Friday, Dec. 16 - at 2 p.m. in the board room of the Classroom Administration Building (CAB) - several campus administrators, including Stan Crane, assistant to the president for Measure H, will discuss construction progress and answer questions from the public and Hartnell's students and staff. These 'construction update' meetings are held monthly.

For more information on the meetings, call the president's office at Hartnell College, (831) 755-6900.
