Eight new international students have enrolled at Hartnell College.
One of them is enrolled in intensive language studies with the Hartnell English Institute, and the other seven are enrolled in a variety of Hartnell programs, according to Molly Lewis, coordinator of Hartnell's Center for International/Intercultural Education.
She said the new students come from six different countries, with the largest number (three) from South Korea. Other countries represented are Nepal, Japan, Norway, Paraguay, and Canada.
The students' areas of study include computer science and computer graphics, business administration, nursing, art and teaching.
The eight new students join 44 others, from 16 countries, who are studying at Hartnell this year.
