International Film Festival Preview at Hartnell College

Hartnell College, in conjunction with the United Nations Association Film Festival (UNAFF), will present eight international films on Oct. 29th and 30th, in the Performing Arts Building, Room PA125. "Admission is free and everyone is welcome," said Josephine Crawford, International Student Advisor.

The International Film Festival Preview will present award-winning documentary films from around the world on subjects dealing with, human rights, world cultures, war and peace and environmental concerns. The films begin on Tuesday with "Thoth" at 10 a.m., followed by "Our Own Road" and "Cultivating Opportunity" at 11 a.m., concluding with "Bombies" at 12:30 p.m. On Wednesday, "Thoth" will again be shown at 10 a.m. and at 11 a.m. "Ravens" and "In Whose Interest?". At noon, "Strange Fruit" will be featured, followed at 1 p.m. by "Long Night's Journey Into Day."

"For those coming to Hartnell College, park outside the College or buy a daily permit to park in campus lots for one dollar," Crawford reminded.
