Who should participate in Hartnell College's Orientation to College workshop?
All new and returning students are advised to sign up for a Hartnell College Orientation workshop.
Hartnell College Orientation
Orientation is designed specifically to help students succeed in college. Orientation provides important information on Hartnell policies, procedures, academic requirements, educational costs, student support services, college success techniques and strategies, and other important topics. Upon the completion of Orientation, students will have knowledge of general education, college policies, university transfer requirements, and certificate and degree requirements.
To Schedule an Orientation Appointment, please follow the three steps below:
Review the Orientation calendar to find a session time that works for you. Allow two to three hours to complete Orientation. The first two hours of your Orientation session will be spent sharing a variety of materials with you that will help you be successful in college. The last hour is optional. Student Ambassadors will be available the last hour to assist students in registering for classes for those students who would like registration assistance.
All Orientations sessions are by appointment. Call the Counseling Office at (831) 755-6820 or visit the Counseling Service desk located in the CALL building to make an appointment. You may also make an appointment at the King City Center and at the Alisal Campus.
Arrive at your Orientation session with a picture ID and a pen or pencil.
